Can't believe that Christmas is over and a new year is approaching. Everything seems to just fly by in just a blink of an eye.
I almost forgot to blog about my Thailand road trip i took with my family and a few relatives around Chinese New Year. By far the most memorable vacation to date.

Took us 3 day to traveled from Singapore to Chiang Mai.
The hardest part was sitting and sleeping inside the car for three days but it was all smooth after that.

Imagine going from point A to point B by car in 3 days. Crazy right?
Our initial plan was to celebrate Chinese New Year in Singapore but then my uncle from KL suggested that we go on a road trip to Thailand instead.
My parents got to SG on the 20th of Jan around 8pm and they started their journey to KL around 10pm. They followed my uncle's car from SG to JB and borrowed another car from my cousin living in JB.
They got to KL around 2am to meet up with my other uncle and to pick me up and continued our journey to Thailand in 3 cars with 3 families.
Reach the Thai border at around 2pm the next morning and had to queue for an hour just to get our passports chopped.
The first hotel we stayed in Hua Hin for the night after driving non-stop for more than a day.
My brother was never so happy for internet connection.
Bought breakfast at the nearest 7-11 at 5am and continued our journey towards Chiang Mai after that.
This is what kept my father driving for the whole day without any rest.
