rants

07:20

Most people I meet assumes that I don't have a temper.
Most people have not seen me angry or throw a tantrum.

It is not that I don't have a temper,
it's that I choose to stay calm or say nothing at all.
What's the point of showing you that I'm angry?

Because of this, people always take me for granted,
assumes that I won't care, I won't mind, I won't keep it at heart.
I care, I mind, it hurts and I hate it when people take me for granted.

The bf and I went to Mini Malaysia & Asean Park yesterday afternoon. Entrance fee for adult is RM15, but with student ID is RM10 and children is RM8. But I feel that they charge too much and the price is not worth it. Once you've seen the first few houses you won't feel like seeing the rest of them because they are more or less the same. Not only that, not all the houses in the park are well maintained including the park itself and the renovations for the Asean park isn't done yet so there's nothing much to see there.

Raya holiday in Singapore

21:57

Celebrated Hari Raya in Singapore with family and relatives and also to surprise grandma. Grandma was constantly calling us when we were going to Singapore to visit her so we booked our tickets to Singapore for the Raya holidays to give her a surprise. We were there for 4 days 3 nights. I didn't take much photos those few days so I'm gonna blog it in one post.

Day 1
We got an early morning flight and reached Singapore before noon. Went to surprise grandma but she was busy looking at her lottery numbers or maybe she was too surprise to say anything. lol. We went straight out after that to make full use of our time. First destination was Orchard Road then we headed to Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay before heading home.

Obligatory tourist pic with the sculptures in Orchard

The shoppes at Marina Bay Sand
Just look at crowd! There was even a queue just to get inside the Casino so we ended up not going in.

Day 2
The second day was the most tiring. This was where we went:
Chinatown > Fullerton > Merlion > Esplanade > Suntec City
We walked all the way from Chinatown to Suntec. My uncle planned a BBQ for dinner so we went back earlier. Our legs were so sore after shopping in Suntec that we took two taxis back. We initially planned to take the MRT back but everyone was too tired to walk.

 A must-visit temple in Chinatown
This was taken near the Merlion where they were having their National Day Parade.
Just look at the crowd! They were all waiting for the National Day Parade.
Stopped along the way for some ice-cream
 BBQ time!

Day 3 &4
Day 3 was full shopping day. Shopped at Tampines the whole day then we went to Vivo in the evening to continue to shop. I wanted to go to Sentosa but ended up giving up on the idea because my dad said it was too crowded. :(

I booked a Maju Expressway bus ticket online back to Malacca on day 4 but they ended up cancelling the trip without informing me. wtf! Good thing I went an hour earlier to check if not I would have ended up staying in Singapore for another night and missing classes the next day. I went to their Singapore office in Textile Center to check where the bus will pick us up but they were closed for the Raya holidays. I was a bit panicking after I called their office number and they didn't answer. So I had to call their Malaysia number in hopes that they were not on holiday too. I called the first time but no answer so I called the second time and they hung up on me. wtf x2! I called again and the lady who picked up was super rude! But I was grateful that she gave me another Singapore number to call. I called the number and the guy told me the trip was cancelled and that he was sorry they didn't inform me and directed me to take another bus from another company back around the same time. It was until then that I stopped panicking. So note-to-self ; call before booking bus tickets on public holidays.

p/s : Don't go to Singapore around or on public holidays. It will be too crowded to go anywhere and you would have to queue and wait anywhere you go.

Sematan Palm Beach Resort

23:06

I went back home last Friday for my midterm break. So my parents decided to go to Sematan on Saturday for two days and one night with a bunch of daddy's friends and their families.

We decided go banana boating because it was very hot and it was also low tide.
This is when waterproof cameras come in handy.

The second day at the beach was very very hot.
So I had a slab on a lot of sunblock before going out under the sun.

What I didn't expect was the water being so clear. I was standing waist-deep in the water and I still can see my toes.
People who have been to Sematan knows that the water is rarely this clear.
