Every time nearing the end of the year, would you look back and reminisce what you’ve done for the whole year? I know I would.

Finally have the chance to travel without either my mum or dad following. Went to KL for 3 days in January with my cousin for STAR edu fair. Got back Kuching and 3 days later my big brother and I went to Singapore without my parents. Total freedom! We managed to book RM4 (per person, all in fare) air tickets from tiger air. Stayed over at my uncle’s house. Got the chance to visit Temasik Polytechnic which got me all excited to want to study there.

How can a 5 year old on the internet by himself? Can even download iphone apps somemore? I think I was still playing dress up at that age.

After we got back to Kuching, my bro unpacked his suitcase and repacked it again cos he was going on a 3 weeks China road trip with my uncle and his family living in KL. Why can he be so lucky one? I was quite disappointed cos my mum wouldn’t let me follow cos she said she needed someone to drive my brother and sister back and forth from school and tuition. That’s how I earn my weekly allowance – being a driver. -___-

Had a boring birthday cos both mum and dad were not in town but they managed to leave me a birthday surprise.

For the rest of the month, I was just busy being the driver and attending professional makeup and beauty therapy courses. Finished the makeup course but not the beauty therapy course cos by that time our SPM results were already out and everyone was busy applying for scholarships and courses. Applied for Temasik Poly but got rejected. Then applied for quite a handful of government institution but all got rejected in the end.

Went to Damai Puri in May since 4? 5? or more years since we last went there.

Can I go back there again?

Got news in July that I was accepted into Kuching Polytechnic. Got in in July and withdrew in August. Finally enrolled in MMU in September.

Learned how to play basketball and got the chance to represent school. wtf

Before going to MMU our whole family got the chance to send to brother to his school – Sarawak Maritime Academy in Sibu where he’s currently pursuing his diploma in Marine Engineering.

Went to Singapore in September for my cousins convocation and went to Malacca after that.

Attended photography classes and got my first DSLR camera from my mum in November

Spent first Christmas without family but had tons of fun on both Christmas eve and Christmas day with friends. I have awesome friends!

Went out to Portuguese settlement in Malacca yesterday night for dinner. Apparently, this place is famous during Christmas cos of the houses that are decorated with Christmas lights and ornaments.

It just makes you wonder how much they spend for Christmas each year and where they keep all their ornaments and displays after Christmas?

#4 The place is quite congested so you have to be there early to get a parking place.

Overheard some guys said that he was there since 5pm. So kiasu one.

We got there around 7pm for dinner but there was no place to seat and most of the kitchen's were already closed cos their ingredients were sold out.

Finally found a place to eat but the person in charge told us to wait at least an hour half or two hours before the food can be served. What to do? Can only wait cos there were no other places to eat.

When it was our turn for our food to be served, the waitress came over and asked us to change some items from our menu cos already no more.
