What my mom taught me

14:24

My mom has taught me a lot of things in life, but most importantly, she taught me how to become a better person.

  1. Be grateful - Be grateful of what you had and be grateful of what you have right now. We may envy what others have but we need to also look at things from our own perspective. Be grateful that we still have our health, family, and a roof over our heads. Don't compare ourselves with what others have with what we don't have. The more we compare, the more inferior we will feel of ourselves. Just stop comparing and complaining and be grateful of everything that has happened in your life and always remember to count your blessings.

  2.  Karma - What comes around goes around. You do bad, bad will happen. You do good, good will happen. Never expect something good will happen right away if you do well. It will happen, but in its own time. Not now, not tomorrow, but maybe in ten years. She always tells me that good karma is also a kind of blessing. Good karma may not always happen to the person who does good, but sometimes to the people you love. That's why she never expects anything in return.

  3. Be positive - Have you noticed when you wake up in a good mood everything runs smoothly and accordingly? But if you're in a shitty mood, everything seems like its going against you? Think about it. Positive thoughts and energy attracts everything that is good and positive towards us. The happier we are, the better life is. Stop complaining and just be grateful.

  4. Forgiveness -Forgiveness is the best gift that we can give to one another.

  5. Family -Family is the most important thing in our lives. No matter where or how we fall, our family will always be there for us. Never trade it away for anything in life.

MBS

MBS, Singapore

18:07

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been very busy with school lately.

These pictures were actually taken a year ago and MBS and somehow I forgot about them until now. It was drizzling that day hence the gloomy feel.
Me and my brother actually wanted to go home last year for our Raya break but the air tickets to go back were expensive. Hence, we ended up in Singapore.

This year however, I managed to book tickets back home for this August but my mom wanted to go to Singapore. So I'm gonna fly back home then to Singapore to enjoy the rest of my semester break.

Grandma kept calling us to visit her in Singapore and she doesn't know we're going there in a few weeks. So it is going to be a surprise for grandma. :)
