Choices
15:29
Even if life tries to bring me down
I choose to be positive
I choose to be happy
I choose to live in the moment
Life is full of obstacles and crossroads
If not, it wouldn't be called life
We alone decide what we want to do with our life
We are all given choices
to dwell or to move on
I choose to move on
There's no point in dwelling in the past
There's no point in holding a grudge
It only makes you angry
It makes you feel inferior
It makes you weak
It makes you vulnerable
We might miss the things that are waiting for us
If we choose to stay in the past
But that doesn't mean I ignore them all
We learn to get up when we fall
Cuts, bruises, or scratches may be unavoidable
But hey, that's life
Brush it off and move on
We might also hurt the people we love the most
And also the people who loves us
They are the one that truly matter
The people who stayed when we fall
The people who stayed when others leave
The people who stayed when they are pushed away
No matter where you are and what you are going through
They will always be there
I am grateful to have people who stayed
I choose to forgive
To be a better person
A better daughter
A better daughter
A better sister
A better lover
A better friend
“The greatest step towards a life of simplicity is to learn to let go.”
