The bf and I went to Eggxtra Monday night because we didn't know where to go and what to have for dinner and since we had not been to this place so why not give it a try. We first knew about this place through instagram. The first impression I had of this place was that it was so cute, bright and cozy.

You can know from the name of the place that their main meals are breakfast but the bf and I were there for dinner instead.

Told you it was cute. 

Just look how much attention they pay to the design of the place.

We had the Eggxtra salad and apple tea for the bf and "Mulan" for me.

The apple tea was just normal iced tea with apple flavouring but the Mulan was sooooooooo good. The drink was a mixture of dragon fruit, apple and orange.

The salad was actually surprisingly good or maybe we were just too hungry because it was our first meal of the day. Anything tastes good when you're hungry. 

We both woke up late, went to our classes then to the hospital to visit the bf's cousin and it was already dinner time.

My fettuccine carbonara

Nothing special about it; the carbonara was undercooked and the sauce was too creamy for my liking.

The bf's aglio-olio with chicken ham. 

I should have ordered this. It tasted way better than mine. :/

The bf and I stayed at the place for more than an hour because it was that comfortable and cozy.

It's already 2014. Oh how time flies! 2013 has been a great year and hopefully 2014 will be the same too or even better. 

We didn't have anything planned for Christmas except a Christmas eve bbq session with friends which ended at 6 in the morning on Christmas day. We slept through half of Christmas day and woke up at around 5 in the evening.

The bf wanted to treat me to a night of fine dining so I chose the newly opened Alto Sky Lounge on the 22nd floor of Hatten Hotel.

The environment and service was great except it was a bit too windy and chilly so I had to tie up my hair half way through eating. 

Food was just ok, nothing fancy and it was a bit tad salty.
