One thing you need to know about Sabah is that the sun rises and sets early there. The sun rises like 5.30am (which I'm not used to) and 6am feels like it's already 9 or 10am. I couldn't sleep longer because my parents were already waking everyone up at 6am. -___-
Surprisingly, most of the shops were opened by the time we got down from our apartment at 7am.
So we spent the day exploring what KK town had to offer.
This was the song it played (which I found from youtube).

Filipino market (which only sells used clothing at very low prices) which was 5 minutes walk from our apartment
Gaya Street aka the chinatown of KK
Crowded street before 8 in the morning
Tamed snakes outside Gaya Street for people to take photos with. *shiver* And yes, there was more than one snake.
Had kolo mee for breakfast but it wasn't that good. It was a lot different from what we have in Kuching. Man I miss the kolo mee back home right now...
I think tourist t-shirts are a must-buy if you're one vacation. They make great souvenirs and it's like telling people Hey, I've been to Sabah! without actually telling them.
And if I'm not mistaken 1 t-shirt there costs RM8.90 and 3 is for RM20 which is really cheap.
Look what we found while walking through Gaya Street! Cute! :3
It even had its own cellphone. wtf
A gorilla giving out leaflets
Leather pouches made from real frogs *shivers again*
Ice-cream truck spotted! And it plays the ice-cream truck song too!
With my brothers and sister
Off to the market which was a few minutes away from Gaya Street
At the fish market.
I have no idea why they put their fishes upside down but most of the fishmongers there did that to their fishes.
Salted fish market
Saw "seamstresses" working while walking back to our apartment. Surprisingly, there wasn't a single lady sewing, all were men.
A few of the fresh seafood we bought from the fish market for under RM100
Lunch is served! *drools* Feeling 2o hungry right now....
After that cholesterol-filled lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon in the apartment looking at maps deciding where to go to next.
So we decided to head down to 1borneo.
But the shopping complex was a real let down. 1borneo is the largest shopping complex in Borneo (at the moment) but it looked as though the place hasn't been under maintenance for a really long time. There were cracked and hollow floor tiles, cracked walls, things missing from the washroom sinks, and the place was practically almost empty except for the gym and arcade parlour.
Played archery because we had nothing to buy there
Guess which one was mine! :D
Yup, mine was no. 8. lol Cracked up every time I see this picture.
If the game was about who missed the target the most I would win!
Lastly I leave you with the picture of my brother hugging the DiGi mascot.
Bye.
