Hey peeps!
It's already a day after 21st May and we're still alive.
And yet they said that yesterday was going to be Judgement Day. Pfft!
Actually, I'm don't believe in Doomsday predictions. I don't believe that the world will end on 2012.
Life's too short to be worrying about when we'll die, so why not just have fun while we can?
So, I've finished my finals and is now enjoying my very short 2 weeks (which is the longest our uni gives us) semester break. wth do we only get 2 weeks and other unis can have at least 2 months?
I'm now in Singapore and will be heading back to Kuching tomorrow. Arrived in Singapore yesterday evening.
My aunt and uncle took me to JB yesterday night to have abalone kueh tiaw and wanton noodles. Then we headed to MBO at KSL City Mall to catch a movie at 12.15am. We watched The Priest.
Hey peeps!
My blog is not dead yet and I'm still alive.
Gosh, can't believe my last entry was two weeks ago.
I was busy with exams. Excuses excuses Sorry. ><
Gonna do a short review on Silkygirl's Double Intense Waterproof Mascara even though it's 3am right now. I don't know why but I'm still not tired or sleepy. I'm still very much wide awake.
So I've been using this mascara for some time now and it's the best lengthening mascara I've used so far.
Plus, I'm a huge sucker for lengthening mascaras.
I wasn't really into Silkygirl's mascaras at first but the funky packaging really caught my attention so I told myself that I would get it. Never regretted my purchase ever since.
Price wise, cheapest mascara I've ever bought. Not really sure about the price now, but I remember buying it for less than RM20, which is relatively cheap compared to other mascaras.
Not only that, this mascara can be easily found in any Watsons and Guardians store or any Silkygirl outlets.
The mascara also contains collagen and protein and nutrient which helps condition and strengthen lashes.
The wand contains two sides - short bristles and long bristles.
How to use :
Step 1:
Using the side of the applicator with the shorter bristles, coat your lashes from the roots to the tips in a zig-zag motion.
Step 2:
Gently brush on the tips of your lashes with the longer bristles.
Pros:
- It's cheap!
- Visibly longer lashes
- Smudge-proof
- Waterproof
- Clump-free
- Not long-lasting. Need to re-coat it if you want to wear it for the whole day.
- Tends to flake off over time.
Minus 1♥ just because it's not long-lasting.
But overall, a really good and affordable mascara.
QiQi and I have been talking about going to KL for some time and we finally went there last Saturday.
Eric tagged along with us cos he was going to visit his family in KL.
We waited for him at the waiting area below our apartment at 9am but he overslept.
After waiting for Eric we went outside to wait for the bus to central and luckily there was a bus when we reached outside.
There was only 3 of us on the bus as it was still early so why not camwhore? hahaha
Something wrong with the date and time.
When QiQi and I reached KL central at Tasik Selatan at 1pm, we took the LRT to Hang Tuah. We were supposed to change station from Hang Tuah and take the next LRT to Sungai Wang but the LRT in the next statsion was closed cos there was some sort of problem with it. Such dumb luck! So we had to walk from Hang Tuah to Sungai Wang. Good thing the journey was not far, around 10 minutes.
I didn't take photos on the LRT and all the while we shopped cos I was paranoid. Paranoid that someone would steal my phone and camera while I wasn't looking. Yea, my mum got her handphone stolen once when she was on the LRT in KL so that somehow made me paranoid. Not only that, people are always telling us to be careful of our belongs if/whenever we're in KL cos there's a lot of snatch thieves there. So you can actually tell where my paranoia comes from.
I was clutching my backpack for dear life for the whole journey. haha I also kept checking if my handphone was still in my backpack or not. I need to stop being so paranoid. lol
In the end, we decided not to go to Pavilion cos the stuffs there are expensive. Plus we didn't have enough time to go there cos we hadn't shopped enough. So we went to Times Square instead of Pavilion.
I'm not sure what time we went to Times Square but we manged to buy some stuff there. Bought quite a few cosmetic products at Guardians' sale. Regretting not buying more though cos they were so cheap.
After that, we headed back to Hang Tuah LRT station before 7pm cos we wanted to get back to Malacca earlier.
After reaching KL central we booked our 8pm tickets back to Malacca and had dinner there at KFC
We were suppose to reach Malacca before 10pm but we reached half an hour late cos there was an accident on the highway, causing a massive traffic jam but I'm just happy we got back to Malacca safe and sound.
I only managed to buy 2 outfits and a few cosmetic products. Should have bought more.
But what the heck, I'm gonna shop till I drop next time I go KL.
KL, I"LL BE BACK!
